Vacancy 1: Senior Business Manager at Kaasbar Amsterdam

Are you a cheese and wine lover with a passion for hospitality and do you have extensive experience in management? Do you want to work at a beautiful location in the middle of Amsterdam and manage a team in a unique catering business? Then we are looking for you as our new Senior Manager!

What will you do? As Senior Manager, you are the linchpin of Kaasbar Amsterdam. You manage the team, monitor hospitality standards, and ensure a smooth operation. You are also responsible for planning, inventory management and coordinating group reservations and communication between our b2b contacts. You have the opportunity to train and educate staff so that they share the same passion for cheese and wine as you do. You are also an expert in upselling: you know how to make guests enthusiastic about our special cheeses and matching wines.

Your profile:

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a manager in the hospitality industry or a similar environment
• Affinity with wine and cheese; you know Dutch cheeses like no other
• Experience in organizing and guiding groups and parties
• A proactive and hospitable attitude, with an eye for detail
• Talent for training and motivating staff
• Experience in upselling and enhancing the guest experience
• You live in Amsterdam
